What Happened to Kim Yu-Na at the 2009 Skate America and the Grand Prix Final? Actually I cannot possibly answer the question as it's possed here, but I have done some statistical analysis of her entire career. By two measures I've not seen anyone else use, number of significant errors per event, and percent off most recent personal best total score, these two events look like they may be a pretty big bump in her career. I hope I'm wrong.

As her Olympic results showed, I was wrong.
